I agree in that statement, we all know that war will always result to killing people and claiming lives in middle on the battlefield and it really does affect the feelings of people or character involve in war. Seeing your countrymen loosing, finding your wife and sons dead by the hands of your enemy, your houses burning down, your kingdom being colonized, and loosing your riches and wealth you have in this world. Well by all this we can clearly see that war can surely destroy spoil.character a man's character. A very good example is on the Illiad hector leaving her family to go back to the war, i were him i would really weigh my options because leaving my family hurts more than a sword peircing your heart! So Hector then Leaves his family for battle to save his countrymen but so war affected him and destroyed his bond with his family and the only thing he has in mind is winning the war.
